   For a project focusing on sustainability, the entire Bachelor of Interior Design Class chose to look at how single use coffee cups used for Keurig and Tassimo machines are recycled. We created a three dimensional installation to raise awareness to the fact that these cups typically aren't recyclable.  After receiving numerous calls from faculty and students, Fanshawe College organised a drop-off center where students and teachers can take their used cups to be sent to a special recycling center. We also entered this project into Fanshawe's Research and Innovation Day and received the People's Choice Award for a community based project.
